Aren't they so blessed to have so many people who love them?? Our first stop was to see Grandpa, Meme, & Aunt Lily at The Woodlands, TX! They took us ice skating. Our middle spice was amazing at ice skating, oldest spice kept trying & trying (we were super proud he didn't give up), and the littlest spice tried for about 3 minutes and stopped!
If you want your children to improve, let them overhear the nice things you say about them to others.

Double Date...
Last night we went on a double date with Aria & Eddie. We had a great time. We went to Taqueria Mexico for dinner and then bowling. It was their anniversary so that made it a little more special! While bowling, Isaac & I kept referencing an episode of "Friends" so we came home and watched that episode before turning on the football that was on.
I'm not sure when they're leaving, but it has been a great visit. I'm pretty sure that we will all feel lonely when everyone is gone! We've had people at our house since last Wednesday and now Isaac will be leaving in a little over a week.....so if anyone needs to plan a trip, we'll be really lonely around the 15th of January or so!

Merry Christmas!
Our Christmas celebrations started on Dec. 20 when we went to SSG. Nutmeg's dad's house. They live in The Woodlands and took us ice skating and shopping. We had tons of fun! Then we went to my mom's house in AR for a few days. We went shopping there as well and visited Santa at the mall. THEN we came home and we were at OUR HOUSE for Christmas! Sage (oldest spice) is 10 and it's his first Christmas at his home. My mother-in-law and her husband came as long as well as SSG Nutmeg's grandfather.
It was also my first time to prepare a traditional Christmas dinner. It turned out to be pretty good, according to everyone.
SSG Nutmeg's sister and her husband are here now. It's been a fun visit. We are going out to eat tonight for their anniversary. I think we will do Mexican....yummy! Plus, since she is expecting, she'll be able to choose from a variety of foods and not get too sick.
I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas!
