I've missed you Spice Rack

so it has been forever since i blogged!!! Isaac will be home next week though so i have lots to talk about. let's see....he leaves iraq on saturday, then be in kuwait for a little bit, then be headed home!! how exciting. I just can't wait to get started with the next chapters in our lives.
he'll be home just in time for thanksgiving and then christmas. we've even already made reservations for the kids at wazoo's for 5 a.m. on black friday. they will get to play and we will get to shop....isn't that awesome?!
let's see...about me.... well, i ran in a half marathon yesterday and finished it at 2 hours 45 minutes. i was very excited and felt pretty good afterward. i've lost a lot of weight since i've seen isaac so i really can't wait to feel his arms around me and then some...(wink wink). i also attend boot camp two nights a week and i think my gym is starting a spin class on tuesday evenings that i will go to. the kids love going to the gym with me.
the kids are all doing great and never fail to remind me how blessed i am to have them in my life.

isaac recently got a new job and will be out of the army pretty soon. we will be moving to augusta, ga soon. so like i said, we have many new chapters beginning. it's all very exciting.

  1. You never cease to amaze me. I get tired just reading about everything you do! :-) Great job with the 1/2 marathon...when is the whole marathon planned for? Augusta GA....soon or when school gets out? Enjoy this upcoming week with having Issac home! Dani B

  2. Yay, a blog post! Even though we're on facebook together, I miss seeing your blog posts! I'm so happy that you will all be together with Isaac again very soon. Congratulations on everything! You are amazing with all of your exercising and weight loss. I'm excited for you guys to move to Georgia (and I've even convinced Eddie to apply to a PhD program at the University of Georgia so pray hard that he gets in and they offer him money! -- although I don't know how close the University is to Augusta...it's definitely closer than Fayetteville!). I think we might try to make it to Houston for Thanksgiving...we still haven't decided yet but IF we do go, we are definitely stopping by Killeen. I love you guys.
